What I Wish I Knew Then…
If someone has told me when I was 21—in simple, direct, non-preachy terms—what I have come to understand about our time on Earth after more than 80 years here, the decades of my 20s, 30s, and 40s would have been experienced much more gently, joyfully, and beneficially (for myself and others) than they were.
The age-old rumination…“if-I-only-knew-then-what-I-know-now”…need not be a part of your own days and years ahead. You CAN know NOW what you will know when you’re an elder. My new book, Letters to a Young Seeker, shares much of this information in 21 short, but powerful, missives.
The explorations of what I have learned—much of which came to me in what I experienced as conversation with God (about which I produced 9 books)—are condensed into practical, accessible, and transformative bits of information, which I believe any person will find instantly applicable in daily life, and wonderfully helpful, whether beginning a spiritual journey or deepening a long-standing practice.
Following each letter is a poem by award-winning poet Em Claire, my beloved life partner. Her luminous, evocative writing amplifies my words, creating an emotional doorway which turns each message that opens the mind into magic that opens the heart.
Letters to a Young Seeker is a comforting companion, a source of inspiration, and a meaningful gift for anyone navigating change, seeking renewal, or longing to live with more intention and joy.
